Multi-Factor authentication is used to provide extra protection layer to your data against phishing attacks, credential stuffing and account take overs. MFA requires two or more authentication methods to verify an identity, from below three categories.
Something you know - your username, password or pin number.
Something you have- one time passcode generated from online app or hardware device.
Something you are- your fingerprints or face scanning technology.
