As we are getting more connected with the technologies from dawn till dusk, hence need of

estimated in that blog that till 2020, 50 billion devices will be connected with the Internet.

Summer'18 release Features

  • Enhance your Report and Dashboard View in Lightning Experience

  • Rename Domain
  • Search the Object You Want Easily from Anywhere
Data Protection and Privacy
  • Determine which privacy record to maintain
  • Leads and contacts  can be merged that have corresponding data privacy records.
  • Select Individual Settings from setup. 
  • Select Retain the most recently modified data privacy record.
  • Make Users’ Personal Data Unusable by Salesforce
  • Permanently scramble personal data in salesforce using System.UserManagement.obfuscateUser Apex method. 
  • Data becomes anonymous after this method and we can never recover it. 

To enable this feature, in Setup, go to User Management Settings, and select Scramble Specific Users’ Data.

Enhance your Report and Dashboard View in Lightning Experience 
  • On the Reports and Dashboards tabs, you can now decide what columns to show, sort or resize columns, and decide how the text in the columns will appear.
  • Report Last Run Date can be added.
  • Sort on a Selected Column
  • Resize Columns
  • Select Columns to display   


Joined Reports in Lightning Experience

  • Joined reports are made up of up to 5 blocks.
  • To start working with joined reports in Lightning Experience, opt your Salesforce org into the beta. 
  • From Setup, Enter Reports in the Quick Find box, then select Reports and Dashboards Settings. 
  • Select Enable Lightning Joined Reports (Beta).
  • Click Save. 

Organizing your Report and Dashboard Folders in Lightning Experience 

Allow us to create subfolders for Reports & Dashboards folder
Things to remember
  • Enhanced folder sharing must be enabled to use report and dashboard folders and subfolders. 
  •  Subfolders can be created only in user created folders. You can’t create a subfolder in your Private folder or the Public folder. 
  • Folder sharing is only at the root level. If you want to share a subfolder, you must share its root folder. 
  • Everyone can see who has access to a subfolder, but if you want to change sharing settings you must do that at the root level.
Duplicate Management: Run Duplicate Jobs on Custom Objects
       We can now run jobs on custom objects to support business process.

Rename Your My Domain When You Want

Personalize the Navigation Bar in Less Time

 app. Click the pencil icon on the navigation bar to
